Anyone over the age of 18 years

Those enrolling for Musical Notes I do not require any prior music learning. 

Musical Notes II is suitable for those who have participated in musical activities for a minimum of three years (for example, playing an instrument, being a member of a choir or studied music in a class).

Dublin City Chambers, 7 Clare Street, Dublin 2 (opposite the National Gallery of Art).

Sixteen classes divided into two eight-week modules. 

First programme of 2026:
Module 1: January 19th – March 16th
Module 2: March 30th – May 25th

One lecture per week (on Monday) for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Musical Notes I: 1:15pm – 2:45pm
Musical Notes II: 11:30am – 1:00pm

There will be an assessment process which is useful for the learner as a tool for continuous assessment. They provide a valuable benchmark for assessing your progress and also give you the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills you acquire on the programme

Assessment is optional and each person is free to choose not do an assessment.
